The main economic activities in the Southeast Region are the manufacture industry, commerce, services, construction and mining.
Saltillo
Main economic activities: manufacturing industry, automotive industry, commerce, service, and construction.

Parras
Main economic activities: textile industry, wine and food; in addition the commerce, service, agriculture, livestock, mining, fish farming and tourism.
Agriculture: production of wheat, corn, vegetables, fodder, nut and grapes (wine).

Arteaga
Main economic activities: agriculture, assembly industry, commerce and service and construction in small scale.
Agriculture: potato and apple (80% production of the state), vegetables, fodders, corn, wheat and fruits (figs, walnuts, quince and peach).

General Cepeda
Main economic activities: agriculture, livestock and commerce; manufacture of food products, breed of animals and milk sale.
Agriculture: corn, beans, sorghum, alfalfa, oat, wheat, fodders, vegetables, chili, tomato, watermelon, melon, peach and nut.
Livestock: goats, sheep, horses, pigs and poultry.
