RAILROAD:

The Southeast region of the State of Coahuila has Railway terminals in the municipalities of Saltillo, Ramos Arizpe and Parras de la Fuente. The connection with the National Railway System provides access to ports, border customs and border cities, main cities of México and other important sites of the country.

Ferrocarril Mexicano S.A. of C.V. (FERROMEX) and Kansas City Southern of México-KCSM (before Mexican-TFM Railway Transportation) are the two Railway private companies that grant service to the region. FERROMEX provides the service to Saltillo and General Cepeda; and KCSM to the cities of Parras de la Fuente and Ramos Arizpe.

The municipality of Ramos Arizpe has a Railway station, which connects it with the national railroad network, thus having more important access to the borders, ports and cities of the country.
