Southeast Coahuila Economic Development (FESEC), was legally established on September 2006 to allow a group of industrialists to support the State Government in their mission to attract investments and to improve the quality of life of the inhabitants of our Region.

FESEC is a non-profit, private association, where industrialists, investors and those people that feel commitment to its land want to repay, in any way the benefits obtained from it.

FESEC was originally created to assist national and international investors in their decision making of establishing operations in our region and showing the competitive and comparative advantages of southeast Coahuila to the world.

In the global context, FESEC  an Investment Promotion Agency, (“IPA” as abreviated in English) where the primary targets are to attract Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) to southeast Coahuila, identify leads, provide all necessary support when making a final decision, promote the Region through all industrial sectors sharing our Region’s economic development interests
